Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry consists of a variety of treatments designed to close spaces,
correct crowding, improve the color and in general enhance the appearance of your
smile. We commonly use a combination of whitening, porcelain veneers, all porcelain
crowns and orthodontics to create a super smile.
It can be as simple as replacing that old crown on your front tooth that has had
the black line along the gum line with a new all porcelain crown that looks just
like your other teeth.
Porcelain veneers can be used to correct the size, shape, crowding and color of
your teeth.
The best thing about cosmetic dentistry is that it can change a patient’s self-esteem,
allowing them to smile without being self-conscious about their smile.
According to a recent survey by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD):
- Nine out of then adults in American consider an attractive smile to be an important
social asset
- Eight out of ten believe that an unattractive smile makes a person less appealing
to the opposite sex
- Three-fourths suspect that an unattractive smile can negatively impact their career
opportunities
- Nearly half said they would like to make some improvement to the appearance of their
smile
Cosmetic dentistry can change your life!

Teeth Whitening
Our teeth can discolor through the years as we eat and drink substances with dark
color including coffee, tea, and wine. Teeth whitening helps restore teeth to a
shiny white color through the use of hydrogen peroxide concentrates, without any
damage to your teeth.
We use three procedures to whiten teeth:
The first, in-office teeth whitening, produces a significant color change in your
teeth in a short amount of time, usually within an hour. The procedure is done at
the dentist’s office by applying a high concentration peroxide gel on the teeth
after they have been protected with a special shield.
The second method, involves the use of home whitening with trays. Whitening trays
or splints are custom made for each patient and we supply you with the whitening
gel and instructions to use at home. We offer additional gel later so you can “touch
up” your smile as needed.
The third option for whitening teeth is the KÖR Method. We use this technique for
darker more difficult to lighten cases. These involve desensitizers as well as both
in-office and take home procedures with stronger lightening agents.

Invisalign
Modern technology develops a new way to improve smiles. Teeth are straightened using
a series of clear, removable, computer-generated aligners. The results are wonderful
and the process is invisible. One big advantage is that patients can remove the
aligners to brush and floss their teeth. We offer this service to patients with
adult teeth.

Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic (porcelain) which are bonded to the front
of teeth. This procedure can be the ideal choice for improving the appearance of
teeth. Veneers are placed to mask discolorations, change the size and shape of teeth.
Patients with gaps between their front teeth or teeth that are chipped or worn may
consider veneers. Veneers can be an attractive, conservative, and long lasting alternative
for creating a beautiful new smile.
